Jamie is a great producer/engineer working out of JBJ Studio who I’ve had the pleasure of doing a few online string sessions for. He was in touch last week about a Christmas single with Freeman which needed a string arrangement along the lines of Drops Of Jupiter by Train. Yours truly stepped in and pulled out all the stops for a quick turnaround, with an ambitious, rhythmic arrangement comprising five parts, each tracked three times for a rich 18 piece string section. Pic shows some early sketches of ideas for a cello part.
