Steven Wilson
I met Steven when he got me in to record his guitars for the Deadwing album (see below). So it was nice to reconnect in 2025 at RAK Studios where he was running a Dolby Atmos masterclass. I picked up a few tips too!
Deadwing
After working with amazing drummer Gavin Harrison on another project, he recommended me to Steven Wilson and I was booked in at my ‘old manor’ Livingston Studios for a week of recording Steven’s guitar overdubs for the Deadwing album. We were recording in Logic, and being a Pro Tools guy this made me have to work a bit harder! I spent most of the time trying to work out the complicated time signatures and writing down bar numbers…!
